The Free Scholarship Cash ("Contest") is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are seventeen (17) years of age or older. Employees, officers and directors of Contest and each of its related companies and agents, as well as the immediate family (defined as parents, spouse, children, siblings and grandparents) and household members of each such employee, officer and director are not eligible to enter. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. By participating in the Contest, entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of Contest, which are final and binding. Void outside of the U.S. and where prohibited by law.

The first semi-annual Contest Period began on December 31st 2008, at 12:00 AM eastern standard time ("EST").

During the Contest Period, go to www.freescholarshipcash.com and follow the links and instructions to register for free. You must complete the entire registration process. Limit: one (1) entry per person per Contest Period. However, by using the Tell-A-Friend functionality, you may earn one (1) additional entry for each different friend you tell about our website, for a total of up to three (3) additional entries per person.

Any use of automatic, programmed or similar entry methods or agents (including but not limited to sweepstakes entry services) will void all entries by that entrant. Proof of entry submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Contest. All entrants must submit a valid email and postal address. Contest is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, technically corrupted or misdirected entries, all of which will be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed the entrant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned to the email address by the organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the respective domain. Contest reserves the right to change the date of the Scholarship or terminate this agreement if two thousand valid and unique entries have not been submitted. A valid entry is qualified by a phone number at which the registrant can be contacted, and the zip code of the registrant's current legal residency.
